Claycomo Municipal Court: Payable Offenses
Citation Information
At the time of your offense, you will be provided with a copy of your citation. If your citation is payable without a court appearance, a dollar amount will be pre-printed on the fine sheet you will receive with your citation. If your citation does not have a dollar amount pre-printed, you will be required to appear on the court date listed on your citation.
Payments by Mail / Over the Counter or the After Hours Drop Box
Payments received by mail must be in the form of a money order or cashier's check. Personal checks will not be accepted. Credit and debit card (Visa or MasterCard) payments are accepted.
Payments may be made by any of the following methods:
- over the counter in the City Hall Office
- in the After Hours Drop Box located on the south side of the City Hall Building
Restrictions
We do not accept personal checks. We do not accept credit card payments the last 6 days of each month.
Fine Schedule
Any offense included in the Municipal Court Fine Schedule is payable outside of court and do not require any court appearance.

Mandatory Court Offenses
Only certain offenses are payable without an appearance in court. The below listed violations require a court appearance either in accordance with Missouri State Law or by order of the Municipal Court Judge:
- All Non-Traffic offenses
- Any Alcohol or Drug Related Traffic offense
- Driving While Suspended/Revoked
- All offenses resulting in an accident
- Code Enforcement or Housing Code Offenses
- Animal Control Offenses
